Students at Leonardo da Vinci School learn economic concepts first hand by taking part in a token school economy. The students are able to earn "Leader Loot" for making appropriate choices and accomplishing tasks. Leader Loot can then be deposited in the bank or used at the school store. Come visit The National Bank of Vinci! This student-run bank is open for business each week for students to deposit and withdraw their leader loot. Students learn to write checks as well as keep and balance a register as part of their base team. Then, The National Bank of Vinci's tellers and administrative team assist students with deposits and withdrawals when they visit the bank. Raffle baskets, grab bags, coupons for special recesses, books and trinkets are some of the most popular items sold at the store. Save up your Leader Loot and visit out store!
