National Junior Honor Society
Leonardo da Vinci is proud to offer 6th-8th grade students an opportunity to be a part of the National Junior Honor Society. NJHS “is the nation's premier organization, established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.” ~National Association of Secondary Principals.
To qualify for NJHS at Leonardo da Vinci, students must complete two consecutive semesters with a 3.5 GPA or above, complete five hours of community service, as well as demonstrate Leonardo da Vinci's Learner/Leader Qualities. Once inducted, students must maintain a 3.5 GPA, complete 10 hours of community service per academic year, as well as continue to be an upstanding Learner/Leader.
